Your helper sets their rate and keeps all of it. We add 10% to run the platform and insure the visit. No clever maths, no fine print.
Hourly rates start at

an hour. Each helper sets their own rate above that minimum, and every penny of it goes to them. Witho adds a 10% service fee to your total — so a £20 helper costs £22 an hour, plus card processing. That fee is the only money we make, and it pays for the checks on every helper and the insurance covering every visit.

So how does Witho make money?
Honest answer: not from you, not from your helper.
Witho earns its keep from partner companies offering practical things people often need alongside care — personal alarms, mobility equipment, home adaptations and stairlifts. If you tell us you are looking for one, we can put you in touch with a partner we work with, and they pay us a fee for that introduction. We only pass on your details if you ask us to. You always pay the provider direct, never through us, and you are never under any obligation to use them.
We also accept advertising on our guides and helper directory — always clearly marked as advertising, so you can tell the difference between what we recommend and what someone has paid to place.
We do not take fees for introductions to financial products or advice, and we never will — that is not a business we think belongs anywhere near arranging care. That is the whole model. Your hour is your hour, and your helper keeps all of it.
