Your insurance

You are covered. We just need one thing.

Witho holds a group policy covering every helper for the work they do through us. You do not apply for it, you do not pay for it, and there is no policy for you to buy — we pay the premium.

The insurer does need to know that you have read their declaration and that it applies to you. That is what this page is for. It takes two minutes and only needs doing once.

Insurance history

  • You have never had insurance declined, cancelled, or renewal refused.
  • You have never had special terms or increased premiums imposed on an insurance policy.

Criminal and financial history

  • You have never been convicted of, or charged but not yet tried with, a criminal offence other than a motoring offence.
  • You have never been declared bankrupt or received a County Court Judgment.
  • You have never been involved in an incident that has, or could have, resulted in a claim on this kind of insurance.

What you are agreeing to

  • You want the insurer to act on these statements and issue cover between you and them, and you accept its terms, conditions and exclusions.
  • You will tell us as soon as possible if any of this changes, so we can tell the insurer. Cover can be affected if the information is out of date.
  • Information you give may be shared with the insurer and, where necessary, with third parties for handling claims — processed in line with data protection law.
Which applies to you?

If something on that list applies to you

Please say so. An old conviction, a County Court Judgment, a bankruptcy years ago — none of these automatically stops you working through Witho, and the insurer says the same: a statement that is not correct does not make an application unacceptable, they simply need to understand why.

What would be a problem is confirming something that is not true. That can void your cover at the moment you most need it, which helps nobody. Tell us and we will sort it out with the insurer.
